Our Foundation Course in Musical Theatre is designed to provide a firm grounding in the skills that are essential for any performer embarking on vocational training in the arts. Following our curriculum of practical modules, students develop experience and professional methodology in performance training.
Students will not only hone their performance skills in acting, singing, and dance, but also develop knowledge of how to become independent practitioners, who are able to create their own work in the industry. All students receive individual tuition as part of the course, and full guidance and support with auditions for professional training.
Students will perform regular presentations to the Academy faculty and invited guests, including cabaret and acoustic evenings. In the third term, students will have the opportunity to perform in a full-scale musical at a London fringe venue to a public audience including industry professionals. For full course information please download our prospectus or click here to apply.
Graduates will be awarded the ATCL Diploma in Musical Theatre from Trinity College London. This is a Level 4 qualification. (90 Credits.) Students progress to Higher Education on performing arts degrees at Universities, or professional training at leading drama schools and musical theatre conservatoires.
