PQA goes live on Sky News to discuss involvement in the arts as a way to tackle bullying

On Wednesday 15th November 2017, PQA was invited into the Sky News studios to discuss the major issues surrounding bullying, in partnership with Bullying UK.

Live on air, our Head of Part-Time Study, Charlie Langham, said “In our Full-Time Academy opening in Islington, the first role that we appointed was a pastoral care role – a trained coach and nutritionist. I think that has to set a precedent.”

PQA students Jay Coward, 18 and Jade Foster, 16 spoke about how important acting and film-making are in overcoming bullying and how creative, supportive environments encourage empathy and prevent issues like bullying from occurring.
